Bamboo Spicy Rice

What we need:

  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cup long-grain rice, uncooked
  • 3 tablespoons jalapeƱo peppers, finely chopped
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 3/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, minced
  • salt to taste (optional)
  1. Take grain rice into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add whole garam masala spices, salt as required, turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, fried onions, half a lemon, oil and mix well.
  3. Leave the marinade for an hour. Marinating the Rice

Assembling:
  • Clean the bamboo until you find no dust inside.
  • Grease the inner part with oil.
  • Put 2 spoonfuls of  first 3 cup  of rice.repeat the process again.
  • Add 6 cups of water.
  • Water runs down to the bottom through the gaps.
  • Cover the bamboo with an Banana leafs.

Making Bamboo Spicy Rice:

  • Set fire and put the bamboos on it.
  • Leave for 30 to 35 minutes turning in between.
  • Later remove it from the fire and leave for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot on a banana leaf.

Bamboo Mutton


Mutton(cut the mutton into small pieces),chopped onions, chopped green chillies, ginger paste, garlic paste, dry spices: salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, mutton masala powder.


How to Prepare:
  • Marinate the Mutton with all the ingredients and keep this aside for 1 hour.
  • Stuff the marinated Mutton into the bamboo shoot through the open side and close the open end with leaves (banana leaves or palm leaves).
  • Roast the bamboo stick for at least 45 minutes on a medium flame, by keeping it on coal.
  • After 45 minutes, cut open the bamboo shoot.
  • Take out the mutton pieces.
  • Garnish with a few drops of lemon juice and chopped onions.

Crabs Masala recipe




Needed Things:

    • 500g fresh or alive crabs
    • 200g shallots(chinna onion) silced
    • 1 tomato silced
    • 3 garlic crushed
    • 3tbs curry leaves
    • 1/4 corriander leaves
    • 2tbs chilli power
    • 2tbs corriander power
    • 1/4tbs cumin power
    • 1 tbs aniece powder
    • 3tbs refined oil
    • 3tbs coconut grind
    • 1ts mustard
    • 1/4ts fenucreek
    • to taste salt
    • 1tbs cruhsed pepper
    • Directions:

      1. clean and cut the crabs.add all powdered masala into the crab.add salt .keep aside.
      2. heat the pan(iron) . heat the oil.add mustardand and fenucreek. add shallots fry light brown,add garlic ,tomato fry well with medium flame.then add the crabs mix well.
      3. After 5 minutes add 1/2 glass water.close with lid.after 5 mins add curry leaves, coriander,coconut,mix well .after 5mins all water absorbed. then sim the flame mix well every mins carefully then crab gets brown ,add pepper and mix .
      4. after 5 mins stop the stove,and garnish with coriander. NOW THE TASTY CRAB FRY READY
